About FirstSit

FirstSit makes plain-English study materials for FINRA and NASAA licensing exams — the SIE and Series 6, 7, 63, 65, and 66. Everything is written to be understood rather than memorized, kept current to 2026 rules (T+1 settlement, RMD age 73), and checked against official exam outlines.

Where the numbers on this site come from

Exam structure, passing scores, times, and fees come from the official FINRA and NASAA exam specifications and are re-verified when we update our study materials. Both administrators use scaled scoring and unscored pretest questions, which is why our calculators say "approximately." If you spot anything out of date, email us via our Gumroad shop and we'll fix it fast.

The paid stuff

Our study systems (blueprints, glossaries, flashcards, practice questions with per-choice explanations, study guides, and adaptive quiz apps) are on Etsy and Gumroad. The free tools here stay free.
